Richly fruity, focused, varietally on target and captivatingly fresh, this tiny production Chardonnay gives pleasure from the moment the cork is pulled. The aromas are a forthcoming medley of ripe peach, baked apple and lemon cream pie scents, with rich hazelnut nougat and baking spice notes in counterpoint. It proves just as bright and inviting as hoped on the palate, where the lovely fruit notes and pretty oak flavors come on strong and linger with a push of apple, poached pear, white peach and lemon cream pie flsvors at the end. Delicious now, it may be more so in another twelve months. 76 cases produced.
