NVWE Notes: Elegant, focused and vibrantly youthful, the aromas of this pretty Pinot Noir are a mix of sweet red cherry, cranberry sauce, sandalwood and five-spice powder. It is just as bright, but more expressive on the palate, where star anise, five-spice and sandalwood bring savory support to a richer core of fresh red cherry, red berry, blood orange and pink peppercorn. The flavors build through an extremely long finish that shows impressive zest and polished tannins. A lovely companion to duck and other fatty meats, it will grow even better over the next two years. 2000 cases produced.
