Very elegant, if a still a hint youthfully reserved, the nose of this pretty Cabernet layers red currant, red cherry, red raspberry coulis and red licorice scents of fine focus, in harmony with counterpoints of cedar, mace, bresaola, sumac berry and toasted rosemary. It is fruit-forward and engaging on the palate, where polished tannins, subtle notes of mineralty, cedar and sweet tobacco contrast juicy fruit flavors of raspberry, pomegranate, cranberry sauce, red currant jam and sour red cherry. Long and food worthy, it is never dramatic but is at all times engaging. A fine dinner wine already, it will be better in 18-24 months. 1365 cases produced
