This is a beautifully ripe, gently zesty Chardonnay with extravagant notes of baking spice, honey-drenched hazelnut, mace, nutmeg, and nougat in support of plush core aromas of baked apple, yellow peach, quince paste and Meyer lemon. It proves as palate-coating as expected in the mouth where honey, nougat, meringue and nutmeg find rich harmony with peach and apple tart flavors. Lingering and flavor-packed, the finish suggests service with richly sauced fish and fowl entrees, sweetbreads and the like. 190 cases produced. Fruit sourced from Kent Ritchie vineyard.
