The nose offers scents of black raspberry, dark plum compote, dried black fig, black peppercorn and suggestions of roasted game, saddle leather, toasted rosemary, and laurel. All of these elements are as notable on the palate where things are both full-flavored and dinner worthy. It is built for service with beef and grilled meats. 325 cases produced.
