El Molino's wife is one of the few celebrated Napa Pinot Noirs made from fruit located north of Carneros. The 2020 bottling offers aromas of cherry galette, raspberry cobbler, cranberry, baking spice and hazelnut husk poised above a chalky undercurrent. Tannins and minerality counterpoint the same rich fruit notes in the mouth, to help create a finer dinner balance which carries through a lingering, fruit-centric finish. Expect this wine to grow mellower and even more dinner-worthy over the next few years.
